August 31, "Blue Moon" hanging over the Acropolis in the Greek capital Athens

       According to NASA, since August 1 to 2, following the August sky recurrence of the full moon, this within one 

month of the second full moon of the phenomenon known as "Blue Moon". The next occurrence of "Blue Moon" by 

the end of July 2015.
