In order to protect China's territorial integrity and the dignity of the Chinese nation, the Greek overseas Chinese, in local time on 13 September, 3PM, held a demonstration in the Japanese Embassy in Greece to protest the Government of Japan and have expressed strong that China has illegal occupation of the Diaoyu Islands.

     In the demonstration, more than 100 overseas Chinese and Chinese Greek brigade hotly angry, waving the red 5star flag ,showing the "Sanctity of Japan's rollout fishing Island" and "Diaoyu Islands belong to China." Such banners ,and protest against the Government of Japan recently Chinese sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands on a provocative journey, the Greek Cypriot citizens defend every inch of the land. Demonstrators chanted slogans and sing the national anthem, and also burned the Japanese flag to show their anger.

     Greece overseas Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Xu Weichun read out a letter of protest onsite, the Minister of Greek Council for the promotion of peaceful reunification Lan Xiaocheng, Greek women overseas Chinese Association President Chen Aiqin, and community leaders through the police submitted a letter of protes to Japanese Embassy on-site . The whole procession continued for over an hour.

     In the letter of protest solemnly declared: Diaoyu islands belong to China since ancient times , and this has indisputable historical and legal basis. The most recent, the Prime Minister of Japan, made a very absurd decision to nationalize the Diaoyu Islands. We, as Chinese nationals abroad, was angered to the Government of Japan sale China sacred territory. " We, the Chinese generation , must never allow and strongly opposed Japanese designs. "On the Diaoyu Island and the adjacent islands to take any unilateral initiatives, and is illegal and invalid, they cannot change the fact that the island is part of China. "
